The kids are going back to school soon and that means that Autumn is on its way!

Whilst we’re pretty excited to see knitwear and pumpkin-spiced things making a comeback on our feeds, there are also lots of fun Social Media Holidays to post about in September…

September sees the return of the Great British Beach Clean (18th) and Recycle Week (20-27th). Both are great opportunities to use your platforms to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living.

There’s also British Food Fortnight which starts on 19th September – celebrating the very best of British produce 😋

Speaking of which – it doesn’t get more British than National Fish and Chip Day on Friday 4th September! 🐟🍟

Other highlights this month include Roald Dahl Day on the 13th 📚 and International Podcast Day on the 30th September 🎧…

If you’ve got some exciting content ideas for any of these dates, why not write them down in your diary or add them to your phone calendar?

You could also forward our Social Media Calendar to a friend or colleague so that you can plan some cool content together!

(Tip: make sure you include any associated hashtags or tag in the organisers if you can!  They’re likely to comment on, like or share your post which will increase its reach.)

We’ll be sharing these every month so you can make it part of your social media plan, but our team of experts are always on hand if you’d like to chat about any aspect of your social media – be it strategy, training, advertising or social media management.

Contact us via email or using this form and we will be in touch as soon as possible.
