Due to long standing comittments, we were gutted not to be able to make one of the biggest digital conferences of the year (especially as it’s in our home town of Bournemouth!) – Silicon Beach 2015. Organised by the guru that is Matt Desmier, this years event was bigger and better than ever if the reports are anything to go by – we’ve linked to a couple of the most informative write ups of the event so you can catch up on all the action!

The digital conference was described by organisers prior to the event as “bringing together the UK’s leading strategic thinkers, digital innovators and people who look at brands. They’ll showcase their challenges and the challenges of the 21st century from a slightly different perspective

  • Marcus Wincott from Media Lounge succinctly summed up the key points from each speaker in two blog posts covering both days of Silicon Beach 2015 – read his report of Day One here and Day Two here. (Media Lounge are a great Bournemouth based company specialising in ecommerce and content managed websites – you can check out more about them here).
  • The team at the fabulous Liz Lean PR also did a great summary of some of their key highlights from the conference – you can read more about what they took away from the event here.
  • Ryan Garratt (Digital Strategist at AIA Worldwide and Director of Social Communications for Stone Cricket) also wrote two excellent, comprehensive reviews of both days – read Day One here and Day Two here.

Finally, we LOVED this incredible visual summary of the event from the brilliant Natalka Design!

Silicon Beach really did bring together some incredible forward thinkers and digital innovators – we were gutted to have missed it but have definitely cleared the diary for next year!
