July is here and with it comes our ‘official’ third company birthday here at South Coast Social! It’s been a busy three years to say the least. We’ve welcomed some amazing new clients on board, build on our relationships with our amazing existing clients – our team has expanded and we’ve said hello to our shiny new offices!
In fact, it seems only right to celebrate our first three years by taking a look back at some of our ‘best bits’…
The past three years has seen us go from a team of two to a team of five (and counting!) with some fantastic new Social Media Managers joining us since 2016 – some of whom are still with us today! Each brilliant member of the SCS team brings their own skillset, expertise and passion for social media marketing into the mix and we truly love what we do.
As our team has grown, so has our need for more office space! We’ve moved offices twice since 2016, most recently to our new location at Bryanstone Works near Bournemouth town centre. We made the move in March this year and already feel right at home here. It’s the perfect space for meeting with clients – plus the added bonus of being in walking distance to the beach!
In summer 2018 we spread our wings and found ourselves some office space in London, due to our growing client base in the city. We have the use of a beautiful office space in St James Square, which is perfectly located near Piccadilly for client meetings.
Brand Refresh and New Website
If you’ve been with us from the very beginning, you might have noticed our brand refresh back in summer 2018 and the shiny new website that came with it. We teamed up with the brilliant Zelda to get some updated team photos, accompanied by ice cream and blazing sunshine.
Giving Something Back
We also place a lot of importance on giving back, and our wonderful corporate charity is Julia’s House, which provides practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition. In 2018, Clare made the brave move to jump out of a plane and take on the challenge of a sponsored skydive. We raised an amazing amount and even won an award from the charity afterwards!
It’s been a fantastic three years and South Coast Social has gone from strength to strength. We’ve had the opportunity to work with some brilliant brands, challenge ourselves in every way to give the absolute best we can for the brands we work with every day and have lots of fun along the way!
