We’ve had an amazing 2018 at South Coast Social – we worked with some incredible new brands, built on our relationship and results with our long standing clients and took on two brilliant new team members. South Coast Social Founder Clare looks back on our year…
Amy and Kelly both joined our team this year, bringing with them enthusiasm, fresh thinking and tons of social media marketing talent! I’m so proud of our growing SCS crew (and we’re currently recruiting for our next social media superstar!) and everything they do to make sure our client experience is second to none.
In the summer of 2018 we had a small rebrand to refresh our look and style, which corresponded with the launch of our new website! We had a photoshoot with the brilliant Zelda down the beach in the blazing sunshine – my main memory of the day is deciding we needed an ice cream to perfect the look, running out of change at the kiosk so having to beg for 10p off and then having to sprint back up the beach with it melting down my arm!
We’ve worked with some amazing brands this year and we’re excited to work with over thirty clients on their social media marketing in sectors that range across health and beauty, accountancy, recruitment, fashion, tourism, food and beverage, pets and many more. We’ve also taken on some exciting one off projects including classical music events and a Gin and Beer Festival!
Large or small, start up or established corporation, we feel incredibly passionate about each and every brand we work with – we put as much emphasis on their success as we do our own.
We also place a lot of importance on giving back, and our wonderful corporate charity is Julias House, which provides practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition. We’ve been proud to support them in several ways this year, one of which was me jumping out of a plane this summer! (funnily enough, no one else volunteered….) We raised an amazing amount and even won an award from the charity afterwards!
We also opened up in London, due to our growing client base in the city. We have the use of a beautiful office space in St James Square and I’m looking forward to expanding our presence there throughout 2019.
As we move into the next year, I couldn’t be more excited about where we’re heading as a company and I’m so looking forward to what 2019 brings for us – we have a lot of exciting developments in the pipeline that I can’t wait to share…
From myself and the team, have a wonderful Christmas and I’d like to wish you all the best for a successful 2019!
