Julia’s House Christmas Appeal: Isabella’s Story

Many of us have experienced the effects of social isolation over the last few years, but for the families supported by children’s hospice charity Julia’s House, this is a struggle they face daily. Corporate Fundraiser Caroline Attreed explains why Julia’s House need our support more than ever this time of year.

“We understand it has been an extremely uncertain and difficult year, with so many businesses and their teams hugely impacted by the pandemic. We have all been on our own journey in these challenging times and we wanted to share with you just one of those journeys. Isabella’s journey.

Isabella has had a hard few months and no-one knows what her future holds. But she’s always smiling, just as you’d expect from a sassy four year old! She spent her first Christmas in hospital. Her mum Erica brought a special outfit for her to wear and took presents to put under the tree on the children’s ward, not knowing when, or if, she would take her daughter home.

Could you help us to bring an extra special Christmas to Isabella this year? Whatever gift Santa may bring, it could never compare to the gift of support you can give to Isabella and families like hers. You can help us make sure families like Isabella’s always have our support to rely on, day-to-day and in a crisis. We’ll be there however and wherever they need us the most. Together we can make a difference.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you have been able to give this year, especially during these challenging times. If you do feel you can donate or fundraise for families like Isabella’s this Christmas, it will mean the world to us and even more to the seriously ill children we care for. Thank you.”
